Location Announced! Dufferin Grove Park tomorrow!

green-eggs-and-ham-happy-samGreen Eggs and Ham will be ‘served’ around a roaring campfire at Dufferin Grove Park!
Tomorrow – Saturday, December 14th
Read carefully for precise mustering location and schedule.

Our Mustering (meeting) Location for ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ will be at Dufferin Grove Park (across from the Dufferin Mall, on Dufferin Street between Bloor and College). See map here.  Meet us at the main fire pit near the centre of the park.  Please note that there are public washrooms, a water fountain and a canteen in the rinkhouse.  Lots of parking across the street at the Dufferin Mall. The park is one block south of Dufferin Station.

12:30pm – Early Arrival Time – for volunteers.
1:00pm (sharp) – All Participants Meet-up
All participants to meet at the Mustering Location listed above.  A volunteer will have a roaring fire that we can warm ourselves by.

Look for someone with a clipboard when you arrive, we need to know that all of our readers are present and everyone has time to sign the media waiver (only if you didn’t sign one at a previous StoryMob). This is also your chance to borrow a prop/costume or book from the props cart if you need something.

1:10 pm – We will conduct a fun ‘rehearsal’ together around the campfire and find ways to incorporate all of the great costumes and props you have brought.

2:00 pm – We will parade around the park to our StoryMob location, which will be somewhere near the rink, which will be full of skaters just waiting to be StoryMobbed!

2:05 pm – We commence our StoryMob performance/reading.
After our final cheers, we will disperse.  We expect to finish well before 2:30pm. We encourage you to post your comments, pictures, video clips and stories afterwards on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc.

*** Consider staying in the park before or after our StoryMob to climb on the big snow piles outside the rink, skate on the outdoor rinks (equipment can be rented) or to warm up in the rinkhouse by the woodstove with some hot chocolate or other homebaked treats from the park ovens.  Read more about Dufferin Grove Park here. ***

Please call or text one of us if you are delayed or need our help.  It is especially important that we hear from Readers and Volunteers if you cannot make it, as we will need to make quick alternative arrangements…plus, we’ll worry about you if you don’t show up!
